Who we are
This website is operated by Mycelium Consulting Limited, trading as Razormind. We are registered in England and Wales (Company No. 12650679). Our registered address is 30 Westgate, Otley, LS21 3AS, United Kingdom.
This privacy policy covers both the razormind.co.uk website and the technology services we operate, including the Razormind Social Scheduler. Where a section applies only to the website or to a specific service, this is clearly stated.
What we collect through this website
We do not collect any personal data through the razormind.co.uk website. There are no contact forms, user accounts, mailing lists, or e-commerce transactions. We do not use cookies or any form of local storage for tracking purposes.
Some of the technology tools we operate as part of our consultancy work do process personal data. The sections below describe what data these services collect and how it is used.
Razormind Social Scheduler
As part of our technology suite, we operate the Razormind Social Scheduler — an internal tool used to schedule, publish, and manage content across social media platforms for our own projects and on behalf of select clients. Access is restricted to authorised users only.
The Social Scheduler currently supports integrations with the following platforms:
- Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads)
- X (formerly Twitter)
- Google services (YouTube, Google Business Profile)
- TikTok
- Mastodon
When you connect a social media account to the Social Scheduler, you authorise us to access certain information from that platform in accordance with the permissions you grant during the connection process.
Social media data we collect
When you connect social media accounts to the Razormind Social Scheduler, we may collect and process the following categories of data depending on the platform and the permissions you grant:
- Account and profile information — your name, username, profile picture, and account identifiers necessary to identify and manage your connected accounts.
- Content data — text, images, videos, hashtags, and other media that you create, upload, or schedule for publication through the service.
- Engagement and analytics data — post performance metrics, engagement statistics, and insights provided by the connected platforms to help you understand how your content performs.
- Authentication credentials — OAuth tokens and related authentication data required to maintain your connection to each platform. These are never shared with third parties and are encrypted at rest.
The specific data accessed depends on the permissions each platform grants during the authorisation process. You can review and manage these permissions at any time through your account settings or directly through each platform's security settings.
How we use social media data
We use the data collected through the Social Scheduler solely for the following purposes:
- Scheduling and publishing — to store, schedule, and publish content to your connected social media accounts at the times you specify.
- Account management — to display your connected accounts, pages, and profiles within the service so you can manage them effectively.
- Analytics display — to retrieve and present engagement metrics and insights from your connected platforms within the service dashboard.
- Service operation — to maintain authenticated connections, refresh access tokens, and ensure reliable delivery of scheduled content.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your social media data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service.
Under UK GDPR, the legal bases for this processing are: performance of a contract (providing the service you have been granted access to) and legitimate interests (maintaining the security and reliability of the service).
Data storage and security
Social media data processed by the Razormind Social Scheduler is stored on servers located within the European Economic Area. All authentication tokens are encrypted at rest. Data in transit is protected using TLS encryption.
Access to the Social Scheduler and its data is restricted to authenticated users with valid credentials. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration.
Data retention
We retain social media data for as long as your account is active and your social media accounts remain connected to the service.
- When you disconnect a social media account, the associated authentication tokens are revoked immediately and account data is deleted within 30 days.
- When your Social Scheduler account is deleted, all associated data — including scheduled content, authentication tokens, and analytics data — is permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Content already published to social media platforms remains on those platforms and is governed by their respective terms and policies.
Aggregated, anonymised analytics data that cannot identify any individual may be retained for service improvement purposes.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that we self-host within the EU/UK. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track visitors across sites. All data is aggregated — no individual visitor can be identified.
Plausible is compliant with GDPR, PECR, and ePrivacy regulations without requiring visitor consent. You can read more about how Plausible handles data.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies. We use browser localStorage solely to remember your light/dark theme preference — this data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
Third-party services
We load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these fonts, Google receives your IP address as part of the standard HTTP request. Google's privacy policy applies to this data.
Third-party platform terms
When you connect social media accounts to the Razormind Social Scheduler, your use of those platforms' APIs and services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review them:
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads) — Meta Privacy Policy
- X (Twitter) — X Privacy Policy
- LinkedIn — LinkedIn Privacy Policy
- TikTok — TikTok Privacy Policy
- Pinterest — Pinterest Privacy Policy
The Razormind Social Scheduler uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a Google account, you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke the Social Scheduler's access to your Google data at any time via Google Security Settings.
Disconnecting social accounts and revoking access
You may disconnect any social media account from the Razormind Social Scheduler at any time through your account settings within the service. When you disconnect an account:
- Our access to that platform is revoked immediately.
- Associated authentication tokens are deleted immediately.
- Account data and stored content for that connection are deleted within 30 days.
- Content already published to the platform is not affected.
You can also revoke our access directly through each platform's own security or app settings, independently of the Social Scheduler.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, and port your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
For the razormind.co.uk website, we do not collect or store any personal data, so there is no data for us to provide, correct, or delete.
